ISLAMABAD: A police team on Monday interrogated former military ruler General (retd) Pervez Musharraf and recorded his statement in a case related to Lal Masjid operation and subsequent killing of Abdul Rasheed Ghazi.
The probe team comprised Director General Headquarters Khalid Khattak, SSP Sajid Kayani and SP Jameel Hashmi.
Musharraf has been facing cases dating back to his rule from 1999 to 2008 and is detained at his villa near Islamabad.
He is facing cases pertaining to killing of former prime minister Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, veteran Baloch leader Nawaz Akbar Bugti, imposition of emergency and detention of judges.
