KOHAT: Two policemen were among three people killed during clashes between two groups here on Monday.
Following the clashes, several shops in the city were set ablaze. The situation in Kohat remains tense and army was called in to maintain law and order. Members of the media were also targeted and a local journalist was injured.
City administration and police have sealed the entry and exit points, while residents have been directed not to leave their homes.
According to security sources, curfew was imposed in Kohat and Hangu.
Speaking to Geo News, Deputy Commissioner Hangu said that the curfew had been lifted as the situation in the city was under control.
