KARACHI: Pakistan has been allocated to stage second edition of Asian Team Snooker and 6 Red championship in Karachi in August 2014, Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) announced on Monday.
PBSA won the bid to stage the continental championship during the meeting of Asian Confederation of Billiards Sports.
During the year 2014, Pakistan senior and junior players will be featuring in seven international events.
Pakistan juniors will appearing in the 15th Asian Under21 Snooker championship to be held in Lucknow (India) from April 5 to 11 besides taking part in IBSF World Under21 Championship to be held in July for which venue will be decided later.
Pakistan seniors will be seen in action in IBSF World 6 Red and World Team championship to be held in May for which venue will be finalized in due course of time.
Pakistan’s top cueists will represent the country in 30th Asian Snooker Championship to be held in Fujaira (IEA) from April 26 to May 3. Other international events in which Pakistan will take part included SangSom 6 Red World championship Bangkok (Thailand) and IBSF World Snooker Championship. (APP)
