QUETTA: At least two persons were killed and nine others, including a child, sustained injuries as a result of three blasts that rocked Quetta within short span of 10 minutes, Geo News reported.
According to police, the first blast occurred outside the department of industries at Sarki road, injuring five people including a child. The second blast took place at the same location, which, however, caused no casualties.
The third explosion went off at the crossroads of Patel Road and Moti Ram Road, leaving one person dead and five others injured.
The injured were swiftly taken to Civil Hospital where one of them succumbed to his wounds.
The blasts sent a wave of panic across the area while markets and shops located at Patel Road, Moti Ram Road and Abdul Sattar Road closed their businesses before their routine time.
