Shutterdown strike observed against Rawalpindi incident

QUETTA: Complete strike was observed in Quetta against the Rawalpindi incident here on Friday.

On the call of Anjuman-e-Tajran Balochistan Jamat Ahle Sunnat-wal-jamaat and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Nazriati, shutters of main markets remained down in the provincial capital and some other parts of the province.

A large number of activists of Jamat Ahle Sunnat wa Aljamat and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Nazriati took out protest rallies and held separate demonstrations.

Speakers of the protest demo flayed the Rawalpindi incident and called upon government to arrest the culprits. Stringent security measures were in place to avert the eventuality. (APP)
