Hyderabad shootings kill four policemen, injure two

HYDERABAD: Two separate incidents of shooting at police vehicles took place in Hyderabad city, leaving five personnel dead and injuring one more.

The first attack occurred at a police mobile of A-section police station in Latifabad when unidentified assailants, riding a motorbike, opened fire at the vehicle. Resultantly, four policemen lost their lives on the spot.

Another incident took place when police mobile of Sakhi Pir police station came under attack of firing. The policemen were standing at a tea stall to have evening tea. Two personnel sustain injuries in the incident.

The injured policemen were taken to the hospital where one personnel breathed his last.
