Karachi police arrest 90 criminals

KARACHI: Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested 90 accused during eight police encounters and 73 raids in different parts of the city during the last 24 hours.

According to Karachi police report, the raids and encounters took place in East, West and South zones of the police.

The police arrested 15 absconders, three extortionists, 35 accused involved in dacoity, looting and murder.

Moreover, 19 criminals were booked for possessing illegal arms and 14 for having narcotics.

The police also recovered 34 pistols, a Kalashnikov, three shot guns and a hand grenade. (PPI)
