TOKYO: Tokyo stocks were flat Friday morning on profit-taking after the Nikkei stormed to an almost six-year high the previous day.
The benchmark index slipped 0.07 percent, or 10.61 points, to 15,716.51 by the break, while the Topix index of all first-section shares edged down 0.08 percent, or 1.04 points, to 1,260.00.
