KARACHI: Firing by unknown men killed a worker of Awami National Party (ANP) near Super Highway here on Monday.
The firing incident took place in Janjal Goth near Super Highway in which three persons were injured including an ANP worker identified as Din Muhammad Wazir. They were rushed to a local hospital where Din Muhammad Wazir succumbed to his wounds.
Denouncing the attack, the ANP Sindh President, Shahi Syed appealed to the party workers to remain peaceful.
He also appealed to the Sindh and Federal governments to take immediate notice of the ongoing target killings in the provincial capital.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident two people including a doctor were shot dead in Federal B Area here.
According to police, unknown armed men opened fire on a clinic in Federal B Area Block-14, killing two persons identified as Dr Usman and Mufti Ahmed. Later, their bodies were shifted to a local hospital.
In another incident, a man sustained bullet wounds after coming under a firing attack in Landhi area, rescue sources said.
