Rangers’ spokesman said targeted raids were conducted in Dawood Challi, Majeed Colony, Staff Colony in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Angara Goth, Malir Khokrapar, North Nazimabad Block I, Nazimabad, Liaqatabad, Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 12 and Shah Baig Lane in Lyari in the wee hours.
He said snap checking was also carried out in KEPZ area.
He said during raids, eight criminals were arrested and weapons recovered from their possession.
