Punjab govt ready to hold LB polls on January 30: Sanaullah

LAHORE: Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that the Punjab government is ready to conduct local bodies (LB) elections as per schedule issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan.

The ECP announced to hold LB polls in Punjab on January 30.

The law minister said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) would not make electoral alliance with any party in the Punjab, however, he added that the party could make coalition in other provinces.

On the issue of NATO supplies, Rana Sanaullah claimed that the supply lines are not blocked, saying that they are only halted in the day but resumed in the night.
