24 policemen awarded punishments

LAHORE: Acting DIG Operations Rana Abdul Jabbar awarded punishments to 13 inspectors and ten sub inspectors (SIs) on different charges here Wednesday.

These police officials were called to reply different charges including misuse of power late registration of cases corruption and misbehaviour with citizens.

After listing them DIG showed his displeasure and announced different punishments against them.

He awarded dismissal to Inspector Hassan Askary while confiscated the services of three inspectors Sohail Bashir Muhammad Arham and Abid Rasheed.

He also demoted SI Farooq Iftikhar on his rank. The CCPO also announced different punishments against other 19 police officials on the charges of misconduct absent and misbehaviour with citizens.
