Rangers arrest eight criminals in Karachi

KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Monday arrested eight criminals in different raids and recovered weapons from their possession.

Rangers’ spokesman said targeted raids were conducted in Korangi Number-2, Pak Colony, Liaqatabad, Nazimabad, Lyari, Ranchore Line, Landhi Number-4 and Saadi Town areas in wee hours. He said snap checking was also carried out in Rasheedabad, Baldia Town areas.

He said during the raids, eight criminals including Lyari gang war elements and criminals affiliated with political groups and involved in heinous crimes were arrested, while weapons including SMGs were also recovered from their possession.
