Palace issues major update as King Charles opens doors for special guest

King Charles made a delightful announcement about opening the doors of the royal house for a special guest.

On September 3, the official Instagram page of the royal family shared a photo of the monarch and Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, announcing a significant upcoming state visit.

The statement reads, "His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Sultan of Oman, will pay a State Visit to the UK as the guest of Their Majesties The King and Queen from Tuesday 20th to Thursday 22nd October 2026."

King Charles and Queen Camilla will host the royal guest at Windsor Castle. 

This significant update by the Palace coincided with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's time in the UK.

Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet also began school in the UK as summer break ends.

Fans are excited to see possibly more reunions between King Charles and the Sussexes as they are now in proximity.
