ISLAMABAD: Former military ruler Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf who on Thursday landed at a military hospital after developing a heart problem is being treated at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a military hospital, Ahmed Raza Kasuri, a counsel for the former president told media on Friday.
Sources told Geo News that according to initial medical report, including blood tests and angiography, the former strongman is suffering from a heart disease.
The sources said that the report would be sent to UK for review while Kasuri said that Musharraf’s legal team would get the medical report till January 5, which would be produced before the special court.
Kasuri said that Musharraf was not as ill as once Nawaz Sharif was when the former prime minister was taken to a hospital at 3:00 am.
He said that security personnel decided to take Pervez Musharraf to the hospital while he was on his way to the court.
