Two held, huge cache of arms seized

QUETT: Two miscreants were detained and huge cache of arms and ammunition were recovered in two different raids conducted in Balochistan, Inspector General of Frontier Corps Balochistan Major General Mohammad Ejaz Shahid said here on Friday.

Briefing media persons at FC Madadgar Center here, the IGFC said that security forces on being informed raided an empty house in Toba Achakzai area of Qilla Abdullah and seized huge explosive.

However, no arrest was made in this connection. Arms included 1.5 tons of explosives 1320 anti personal mines 500 anti tank mines 200 IEDs 150 prima cards 17 bundle wire 21 remote control and 9 times bombs.

Meanwhile during a search operation in Kili Janu of Gulistan area of Balochistan two miscreants were nabbed.

2 LMGs 42 hand grenade 21 SMGs 1 short gun 2500 Kalashnikov and tow motorbikes were also recovered from their possession.
