ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif Thursday directed the Interior Minister to arrange for engaging in dialogue process with those factions of Pakistani Taliban who are willing to come forward for holding the peace talks.
The prime minister met with Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and was briefed on the situation in Karachi along with the dialogue process with Taliban groups.
The Premier said that results have started becoming visible in the ongoing targeted operation against the criminal elements in Karachi and it should continue at all costs.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar during a meeting with Karachi’s leading businessmen on Wednesday assured that the government would not compromise on the ongoing crackdown against terrorists in the city.
