How can Taliban talks fail without beginning: Imran
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman, Imran Khan asks how talks with the Tailban can fail if they have not even begun.

During a news conference, Khan said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should call an All Parties Conference (APC) on the status of the Taliban talks. “The information we have received states that the Taliban have called for an end to drone strikes before talks can begin.”

Imran asked if Prime Minister Sharif had approached the US over stopping drone strikes and if this issue had been taken to the UN Security Council.

POLIO

Khan said polio had been a problem for several years and not just the last six months. Imran added that some of the blame lay with Dr Shakil Afridi as people had now become suspicious of health workers.

NADRA

Imran also claimed that former National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) chairman, Tariq Malik had been pressurized by the PML-N government into resigning.
