Altaf urges PM to announce anti-terror strategy
LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Altaf Hussain Tuesday urged the Prime Minister of Pakistan to address the nation on the television and radio within the next 24 hours and announce the government’s counter-terrorism strategy.

In a statement from London, Altaf Hussain strongly condemned the attack on a pilgrims’ bus in Mastung and called upon the PM to inform the nation about the government’s concrete strategy and steps to against the terrorists.

He warned that unless terrorists were stopped from pushing forward their bloody campaign, they will one day occupy the entire country and force people to declare allegiance to them after imposing their version of Islamic Shariah.

“They will also bomb the tombs of Qaud-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal, razing them to the ground,” the MQM Chief added.

He asked the MQM workers and the people to become part of the three-day mourning over the Mastung carnage.
