CM Balochistan calls for ferry service for pilgrims

ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister Balochistan, Dr Abdul Malik Baloch has called on the federal government to provide ferry service for pilgrims from Karachi to Chabahar.

Speaking to Hamid Mir on Geo News’ programme ‘Capital Talk’ Dr Baloch said the ferry service would be both safe and economical.

The buses of pilgrims returning from Iran to Pakistan are constantly under threat and have been attacked twice this month.

Yesterday, 24 pilgrims were killed in a suicide attack targeting their bus in Mastung. An earlier attack on January 1 claimed the lives of three pilgrims near Quetta.
