QUETTA: A total of 215 Zaireen (pilgrims) were airlifted to Quetta by 2 flights of C-130 airplane Sunday.
These pilgrims were stranded at Dalbandin airport since two days. The government has airlifted these zaireen to Quetta free of cost.
According to details pilgrims had returned to Pakistan after visiting holy shrines in Syria, Iraq, and Iran and were brought to Dalbandin by security forces under strict security.
They stayed at Dalbandin Airport for two days.
On Sunday, around 215 pilgrims were airlifted to Quetta via two flights of C-130 Hercules aircraft.
FC, Levies, and police took extremely strict security measures on this occasion.
Deputy Commissioner Chagai Saifullah Khetran, Assistant Commissioner Abdul Razzaq Sasoli, and Commandant Dalbandin Scouts Abdul Rehman supervised the whole airlifting operation. (PPI)
