ISLAMABAD: Police have received the verdict of a special court hearing treason case against the former military ruler General (retd) Pervez Musharraf.
The police Saturday obtained the court's order that dismissed Musharraf's plea seeking permission to have medical treatment abroad. The court had also issued arrest warrant for the former president and directed the authorities to produce him before the court on February 7.
The sources said that the police would dispatch the court order to Musharraf in one or two days.
It is pertinent to mention here that the court had set bail bond at Rs 2.5 million. If Musharraf failed to pay the bond then he may get arrested, the sources added.
