CM complaint cell receives 13,959 public complaints
PESHAWAR: The complaint cell of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa received as many as 13,959 public complaints during last eight months and took immediate action on 2167 complaints.

The Chairman of the cell said here on Tuesday that the cell sought reply from concerned departments on 6,222 complaints and initiated inquiry into 1951 complaints.

He further informed that 9,841 complaints were not entertained due to incomplete information of sender personal issues of complainants and unknown complainants.

He said the cell received many complaints against power and gas loadshedding which were forwarded to the concerned departments of federation for necessary action.

Provincial Minister for Information Shah Farman on Tuesday visited the cell and attended public complaints and issued on spot directives in some cases. He said that the provincial government is taking pragmatic measures to address the sense of deprivation of KP people, adding that a comprehensive strategy has been chalked out for uplift of the people.

The provincial minister invited opposition members in provincial assembly to visit the cell hear the public complaints and help the government to address the issues. He requested people to provide their complete information along with the complaints so that the government could take proper action accordingly.
