Asia Cup Match-5: Bangladesh put Afghanistan into bat

FATULLAH: Bangladesh captain Mushfiqur Rahim won the toss and put Afghanistan into bat in the fifth match of the Asia Cup 2014 here at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium on Saturday.

Mushfiqur Rahim said he was not feeling fully fit but playing after taking a lot of medication. He had hurt his shoulder during the game against India.

Bangladesh are playing three spinners with the inclusion of Arafat Sunny.

On the other side, Noor Ali Zadran is not playing because of a hamstring injury. Karim Sadiq has replaced him and Hamid Hassan is playing in place of Dawlat Zadran.

Both teams playing have been winless so far and this match will help at least one of them open their account in the tournament.
