Social media website Twitter restored

KARACHI: The micro blogging website Twitter that broke down on Tuesday night has been restored.

Earlier, the message on the website said: “Something is technically wrong. Thanks for noticing—we're going to fix it up and have things back to normal soon.”

Minutes later the message on the website changed to: “Twitter is currently down for maintenance. We expect to be back shortly. For more information, check out Twitter Status. Thanks for your patience!”

After an outage that lasted for several minutes, the website made a come back allowing millions of its users to log into their accounts to send messages, images, videos and other information across.
