LAHORE: Sirajul Haq has been elected as Chief of the Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Geo News reported on Sunday.
Haq, who is serving as senior minister in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa coalition government, has been elected as the Jamaat Amir for the next five years.
Syed Munawar Hassan and Liaqat Baloch were also in the run for the new JI chief.
