Body of Multan treasure hunter discovered

MULTAN: Rescue personnel discovered the body of Zeeshan who dug a 50-foot deep tunnel here looking for buried treasure.

Over a day after the operation to recover Zeeshan from the tunnel was imitated, Rescue 1122 teams spotted his body.

Zeeshan a resident of Bagh Beera dug up part of his house in a bid to retrieve hidden treasure on the advice of a fake peer.

Due to the risk that the tunnel's walls may collapse, rescue officials were reluctant to send any personnel down the deep hole.



A camera was however sent down the hole which revealed that the tunnel expands into a 6x6-foot room with four additional tunnels leading in different directions.
