Talking to media representatives here he said that only the PCB chief is authorised to appoint captain of the national team and not the selection committee.
He was commenting on a statement given by Chief Selector Moin Khan that the change of captain was being considered.
The PCB chairman said that the appointment of captain was not the job of the selection committee who only selects the team.
