ISLAMABAD: The marketing companies on Wednesday reduced price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs15 per kg.
Chairman LPG Distributors Association Muhammad Irfan Khokhar said the price of domestic cylinder was decreased by Rs177 and commercial cylinder by Rs681.
He informed that new prices of LPG will be effective with immediate effect throughout the country.
Giving details, he said that the price of domestic cylinder had been slashed to Rs1030 with Rs90 per kg in Karachi.
In Lahore, Peshawar, Islamabad and Rawalpindi the price of domestic cylinder would be Rs1150 with one kilogram at Rs100. The domestic cylinders in Hyderabad would be sold at Rs1210 and one Kilogram at Rs105.
Khokhar further informed that the price of domestic cylinder in Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir had come down to Rs1330 and one kilogram at Rs115.
He added that LPG production would augment by 500 metric ton during the current financial year and the price of the commodity was likely to further decrease in next month. (APP)
