ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid said on Monday that the rally of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had failed.
Speaking to media at Parliament House, Rashid said no more than 14,000-15,000 people attended the PTI rally which was held at D-Chowk in Islamabad on Sunday. Rashid told reporters that Imran Khan held this rally to divert attention from the PTI government’s performance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The information minister said if Khan would not have held this rally differences emerging within the PTI in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would have come out into the open.
According to Rashid only 500 people had taken part in the rally from Lahore.
