Seven die in separate violent incidents in Karachi

KARACHI: Seven people were killed and two others injured in separate incidents of violence here on Saturday.

Four unidentified men aged 25, 35, 30 and 40 were killed when some armed men opened fire on them in Khamesa Goth New Karachi. The bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico legal formalities.

Separately two unknown people aged 20 and 25 were shot dead by unidentified armed men near Singo Lane in Lyari. The bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for an autopsy.

A mutilated body of a man identified as Ijaz-30 was found near Filter Plant in Steel Mill area. It was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for postmortem.

A teenager Rashid, 17 was injured when unidentified gunmen opened fire on him near Siddiqui Autos in Hijrat Colony. He was taken to Civil Hospital for medical treatment.

A man named Zulfiqar, 25 was shot and injured while resisting a robbery attempt near Sara Pump in Lyari. He was also brought to Civil Hospital for medical treatment.
