KARACHI: Four more people including two brothers and a lady health worker were killed in ongoing incidents of firing and violence in the metropolis on Thursday, Geo news reported.
According to police, two brothers were injured when unidentified assailants opened fire at a rickshaw in Nazimambad area. The brothers, identified as Zulfiqar and Shakir, were rushed to the hospital where they breathed their last.
In Lyari, unidentified armed men broke into the house and killed a man. The deceased is identified as Muhammad Aslam, who was affiliated with a political party.
A lady health worker was injured in another incident of firing that took place near Metrological Department’s office. The injured, identified as Naseem Muneer, was taken to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Lady health workers demanding of the government to bring the culprits to book, have announced that they would not boycott anti-measles drive.
