Four bombs defused near Larkana

LARKANA: Four bombs planted in high transmission electricity line poles near Badah on Thursday were defused safely by bomb disposal squad, police said.

According to SSP Khalid Mustafa, the police received information that bombs have been planted in high transmission lines passing from the outskirts of Badah town and without loosing any time he along with the ASP bomb disposal squad members reached the spot.

He further said that such attempt was also made last year at almost the same place which too was foiled. The SSP said that police was investigating the matter while nobody had so far claimed the responsibility of this act.

He further added that search would also be carried out in and around Badah town to find out the criminals involved in that terrorist plot.
