Dr. Hassan Farid Hashmi’s son gets married

DALLAS: Famous Pakistani American physician, prominent entrepreneur, owner of Texas General Hospital and others several hospitals in US and Dubai Dr. Hassan Farid Hashmi and Wesley Chapel, Florida's Former Mayor Mrs. Salma Hashmi son Haroon Farid Hashmi wedding ceremony with a prominent businessman in Dallas Mr. Arshad Siddiqui daughter Nageen Arshad was held at Inter-Continental Hotel in Dallas.

The groom's uncle, who is a personal friend and doctor of President General Pervez Musharraf and city of Paris Mayor Dr. Arjumand Hashmi, Pakistani prominent entrepreneur and the CEO of the Schon Group and Honorary Consul-General of Sierra Leone in Karachi, Mr. Nasir Schon, Republic of Kyrgyzstan Counsel General Khizar Schon, Pakistani physician's Association APPNA's leaders and local Business leaders, APPNA's North Texas officers including Pakistan American Association of Texas (PAAT) president Dr Amir Suleman, Dr Haq Nawaz, Dr Arif Mehmood, Dr, Khalid Mahmood, Dr. Jalil Khan, Fun Asia owners, Shariq Hamid, Raja Zahid Khanzada, and large number of guests from all over the US and other countries including prominent local dignitaries and civic and social leaders of Dallas participated in the wedding event.

A prominent interior designer of Dallas decorated the stage and the ballroom. A known desi caterer from Chicago provided the food for guests. A Desi musical band also performed to entertain the audience. After a delicious and sumptuous dinner a special musical program was also organized, the Famous Bollywood singer Imran Khan, Pakistani Famous Qawal Amjad Sabri and Pakistani singer Alamgir also performed to the audience to make the ceremony memorable.

More than a thousand guests were in presence at the ceremony. Performance of Desi wedding customs and rituals were mixed with music and bhangra where the family members also displayed their joy by dancing on bhangra's beats.

The ceremony lasted till late night. Dr. Hassan Hashmi and his wife Salma Hashmi welcomed all the guests. Also Suleman Hashmi, Maarjan Pasha Hashmi, Faraz Hashmi, Fizza Schon Hashmi and bride parents Mr. Arshad and Mrs. Samina Siddiqui also thanked all the invited guests of a memorable wedding ceremony.
