TORONTO: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief, Dr Tahirul Qadri has announced that he will arrive in Pakistan on June 23.
In an address via video link, Dr Qadri said the federal and Punjab governments would be responsible if public order is undermined upon his arrival. Dr Qadri called on the Pakistan Army to take control of security at the Islamabad airport on his arrival.
According to Tahirul Qadri eight PML-N leaders including Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif would be responsible if he or his family is harmed.
The PAT chief said his meeting with PML-Q leader Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain had been constructive and he would be meeting with chief of other parties once in Pakistan.
