State terrorism will not be tolerated: Qadri
LAHORE: Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran (TMQ) chief Tahirul Qadri has termed police action against TMQ workers as ‘state terrorism’ and said it would not be tolerated, Geo News reported.

Addressing party workers via video link, Qadri said the case of workers killing would be lodged against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

He also announced to return to Pakistan on June 23 as scheduled.

Dr Qadri claimed that the government does not want military operation in North Waziristan to be successful.

He said barriers were placed four years back and asked why they were not removed at that time. Qadri said removing barriers was not the actual purpose of the police action as these were not disturbing anyone.

Dr Qadri further said that police opened straight fire on peaceful workers. He paid rich tribute to the workers on their courage.

He added that police attacked TMQ workers when they were sleeping.

Qadri said the blood of party workers will not go to waste, adding the revolution which was to take sometime will come shortly.

Qadri vowed to fight the war of Pakistan and its poor people.
