Shahbaz Sharif meets Chaudhry Nisar to bury the hatchet

ISLAMABAD: Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif made one more attempt on Thursday to pacify Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan but to no avail.

According to a Geo News report, the PML-N leadership is trying to pacify the disgruntled Chaudhry from Chakri and Punjab chief minister’s visit was part of its efforts in this regard. However, the traditional warmth was missing after the meeting between the two stalwarts of the ruling party.

The half an hour long meeting took place in Punjab House where younger Sharif listened to reservations of the interior minister.

Sources said that Shahbaz Sharif assured Nisar of addressing his grievances however the ice didn’t seem to thaw.

Though Sharif led Chaudhry Nisar to the porch, seriousness on their faces was visible hinting that the meeting didn’t succeed in burying the hatchet.
