Four injured in Chaman blast

CHAMAN: A suspected motorcycle blast occurred in Qandhari Bazar area of Chaman Monday morning that injured four persons, Geo News reported.

According to Levies sources, a powerful explosion occurred in Qandhari Bazar area today morning that injured four persons who were shifted to Civil Hospital Chaman.

Security forces suspected that explosives were fixed in a motorcycle that caused the explosion. A special branch office is also situated near the blast site, however, no damage occurred to the building fortunately.

Several motorcycles and a rickshaw were destroyed due to the blast that were parked near the blast site.

Police and other security personnel cordoned off the area initiated investigation meanwhile the rescue teams shifted the injured to the hospital for treatment.

The bomb disposal squad was occupied in searching and clearing the area to avoid any untoward situation.
