LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri has reiterated that Revolution march would leave for Islamabad tomorrow (Thursday) at any cost, Geo News reported.
Talking to media here Wednesday, Qadri said: “I assure the march will be completely peaceful. There will be no vandalism during the march.”
The Lahore High Court (LHC) has barred the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) from launching an ‘unconstitutional’ Azadi March and Inquilab March.
In its order the court also prohibited the holding of a sin-in in an unconstitutional way in Islamabad.
Qadri said PAT’s Revolution march would be for the supremacy of the democracy. “We 100 per cent believe in the constitution”, he asserted.
PAT chief said they also believe on constitutional way for amendments in the Constitution. He said: “it is our stance that there is no democracy in Pakistan at this time.”
