KARACHI: Former president and Pakistan People’s Party leader Asif Ali Zardari and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain have urged a political solution to the prevailing unrest in the country.
According to a statement issued here, Mr. Zardari strongly condemned the attack on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s Azadi March, urging the government to immediately arrest culprits involved in the incident.
He further said that leaders should resolve the issues politically as the political intolerance will add fuel to the fire.
Meanwhile, during a telephonic conversation with All Pakistan Muslim League(APML) leader Ahmed Raza Kasuri, MQM chief Altaf Hussain said that all political forces should respect each other and resolve issues amicably and through dialogue.
Altaf said every matter could be resolved through dialogue.
