ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister, Pervez Rashid Tuesday said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Tahirul Qadri will be responsible if the situation led to a confrontation.
Talking to Geo News, Pervez Rashid said the government was ready to hold talks with the protesters.
He said all security measures have been adopted but added that use of force will be avoided. “Government will exercise patience and tolerance,” he said.
Pervez Rashi said the PTI and PAT wanted to do politics on dead bodies since day one.
“We will continue to pursue the policy of peace,” he said, adding, both the leaders appear to have lost control on the crowd.
He said both the leaders were contacted for talks but they rejected the offer.
