PTI, govt to hold talks tonight
ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and the government will hold talks tonight to find a way out from the prevailing political crisis, sources said late Wednesday night.

In what was said to be first contact between the PTI and the government since former cricket star Imran Khan led a long march from Lahore to the federal capital, the rivals would discuss the situation.

The sources said that two cabinet members will represent the government while Shah Mehmood Qurshi, Asad Umar, Javed Hashmi, Arif Alvi and Jehangir Tareen will be representing the PTI.

Senior journalist and Geo News anchor, Saleem Khan Sahafi says negotiations between the agitators and the federal government might lead to resignation of Punjab Chief Minister and Nawaz Sharif's younger brother Shahbaz Sharif
