ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Dr. Tahirul Qadri announced in a late night address at midnight that talks with the government have failed.
He announced that the doors of negotiation have now closed and that government negotiators need not return, because the government has failed to accept even the two demands that had been made.
Tahirul Qadri told those present, that out of many demands he had insisted that at least two be agreed upon by the government immediately. The demands he revealed were the resignation of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and the registration of an FIR of the Model Town incident against 21 nominated persons.
Qadri, told his followers that they should return after lunch on Thursday for Yaum-e-Inquilab (Day of Revolution). He added, that he will not make those present stay longer than one day because the decision will be made tomorrow by the people.
He ended his address, announcing that Thursday will be the day Pakistan’s fate will be changed and that is when he will deliver his final address.
