ISLAMABAD: The government has not provided any recommendations or solutions to the present political crisis in the country, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Friday.
Qureshi spoke to reporters after a meeting between the PTI and government teams.
According to the PTI vice chairman they had come to the meeting with a constructive approach and like past meetings had presented recommendations and solutions. Shah further said the government team comes to these meetings smiles and then leaves.
“The government has not presented an out of the box solution,” Qureshi said.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said his party had sought a clarification over statements made by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan regarding the government not requesting the army to mediate. “If there is such a huge difference in understanding it bleeds of trust deficit,” Qureshi said.
