ISLAMABAD: Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahiur Qadri turned his guns on Pakistan People’s Party on Wednesday and warned of exposing it if Khurshid Shah was not given a shut up call.
He said Shah’s party was accused of dismembering Pakistan. Addressing party workers, he said that he will “open registers of PPP if Zardari doesn’t stop his followers.
“I was president of Awami Ittehad and PPP carried out its struggle under my leadership, Benazir was member of Minhajul Quran” he claimed.
The firebrand cleric also came down heavily on Chaddar clad Pakhtoon nationalist leader Mehmood Khan Achakzai, who has been speaking in support of democracy and the government since inception of long marches on August 14.
He once against announced that he will not leave Islamabad until resignation of Sharif brothers.
Qadri said that the PAT and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf were united in their battle. He asked Imran Khan “to become coach as he wants to play cricket”.
