ISLAMABAD: The River Chenab is in high flood at Trimmu with water level rising which is expected to reach high flood level during next 24 to 48 hours.
Talking to Radio Pakistan, spokesman of Flood Warning Center Tuesday Morning said that River Chenab is in low flood at Qadirabad now with water level falling while the water situation has become normal at Marala and Khanki.
In River Ravi, there is a high flood level at Balloki while medium flood level at Shahdara Lahore while water situation at Jassar has become normal. Water level is rising at Balloki while falling at both Shahdara and Jassar.
In River Jhelum, there is low flood level at both Mangla and Rasool and water level is falling at both points. The spokesman told that the main flood is expected to reach Panjnad Headworks on Sept 12 or 13 of this month.
