Achakzai urges Parliament to table resolution to support Geo

ISLAMABAD: Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party chief, Mehmood Khan Achakzai on Wednesday urged parliamentarians to pass a resolution in support of Geo/Jang Group, the largest media group of Pakistan.

Speaking at the join sitting of the Parliament, the Pakhtoon nationalist leader said there was not a single person who didn’t favour Geo. He said that the Geo office is attacked on daily basis, questioning as to why and under which law Geo has been shut.



Mehmood Khan Achakzai said that Jang Group had served country and journalism for 70 years.

He called on parliamentarians to take measures for the restoration of Geo.
