ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will address the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on September 26.
According to the PM’s Special Advisor, Tariq Fatemi, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will be travelling to the United Nations on September 24 and will also chair an important meeting with the US vice president and Japanese prime minister on UN peace missions.
The prime minister will also meet with his counterparts from Denmark and Norway and discuss issues related to energy.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to arrive at the UN on September 26, however, there is no meeting scheduled between the two prime ministers.
