INCHEON, South Korea: Aamir Khan became the third Pakistani boxer to advance in the last 16 rounds of 64 kg welter weight division of Asian Games by winning his bout here at the Seonhak Gymnasium on Thursday.
Aamir outpointed his opponent Seif Emad Issa Qraish of Jordan 3-0 after a close bout.
All the three rounds of the bout remained very close as he won the first round 10-9 second by same margin and third round 10-9.
Earlier, Nadir Baloch and Ahmed Ali won their first bout to qualify for the pre quarters round of the competition. (APP)
