Pakistan thrash Bangladesh to reach kabbadi semis

INCHEON, South Korea: Pakistan Kabbadi team maintained their superiority over Bangladesh as they thrashed their opponents 24-11 and advanced in the semi final of the 17th Asian Games at Songdo Global University Gymnasium on Monday.

Pakistan 2010 Bronze medalist with their second win confirmed their entry into the semis after overwhelming Thailand the previous day. Showing brilliant work Pakistan enjoyed a big lead in both the rounds. They were leading 13-4 in the first session. This included one bonus and two lona points.

Bangladesh came strongly in the second session and achieved a little bit of superiority. But Pakistan grapplers pulled some vital points to register 11-7 success.

Pakistan will now meet their arch-rivals in third and last league match on Tuesday. (APP)
